The axial flow pumps serve as flood water pumps in 2 pumping stations of a large power supplier in German-speaking Switzerland. They each deliver 1800 m3/h and are designed for a delivery head of 3 m.

The motor support and motor are located above the pump sump in a dry installation. The hydraulics are made of gray cast iron, the rotor unit of stainless steel. The 3-ton heavy pumps have an overall length of 4.2 m.
