18th International Pump Users Symposium opens with record number of product launches

The Turbomachinery Laboratory at Texas A&M University is sponsoring the 18th International Pump Users and Short Courses, March 5-8, 2001, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.
The world-renowned meeting is drew more than 3500 pump users from around the world.
Five one-day short courses are were offered on Monday, March 5. The symposium opened Tuesday, March 6, with 12 lectures on a variety of topics related to present leading-edge machinery technology. Five tutorials are presented in a teaching, sometimes hands-on, setting. Thirteen topical discussion groups address current problems the attendees bring to share with their peers. They will go away with solutions to those problems.
