ABS Wins Order for Wastewater Treatment Plant in USA

13.04.2010

ABS has entered into an agreement on the delivery of compressors for a wastewater treatment plant in Faribault, Minnesota, USA. The order is worth EUR 400,000.

The biological treatment process is to be upgraded at the treatment plant in Faribault, Minnesota, USA, and the choice has been made to replace the conventional aerators with high-efficiency ABS turbo compressors HST. By this means, the customer will achieve improved reliability, reduced energy consumption and lower costs for routine maintenance.

“Reduced energy consumption is high on the agenda for our customers. Our solutions reduce the customers’ energy costs and in so doing create both more cost-effective and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment,” says Peter Aru, CEO of ABS.

The order will be booked in the first quarter. Delivery and installation are expected to occur in mid-June 2010.
