AxFlow Grows its Service Business in Switzerland

AxFlow GmbH Germany announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Ateliers Ehrismann SA - Geneva-based company active in the service of electric motors, pumps and other electrical and mechanical machinery.

The company is ATEX certified for the repair of electric motors and they hold a permanent stock of electric motors, frequency converters and spare parts for complete pump overhauls.

Founded by the Ehrismann family and partner back in 1923, the company has been in business for almost a century. In 1950 it has been transformed into a joint-stock company and it is still owned by a third-generation family member to this date.

Ateliers Ehrismann has 14 employees who service large client groups in all types of industrial processing and the municipality sectors, particularly in the Geneva and Vaud regions.

“Ateliers is a leader in their local niche market and have a prominent market recognition,” says Georg Niebch, Managing Director of AxFlow Germany and continues, “With Ateliers Ehrismann on board we see an opportunity for sales synergies by expanding the distribution of AxFlow’s products and services to customers in the region, while at the same time providing an even better service offering to our existing customers in Switzerland that we look after from our sales office in Muttenz.”

The owner of Ateliers Ehrismann SA, Mrs. Martine Ehrismann is also pleased with the acquisition and comments: “I am very happy that AxFlow will maintain the continuity of our company and will develop its structure with the new opportunities that the company offers.
