Daniel Serbin is Parker’s New VP of Human Resources and Corporate Officer

The Board of Directors of Parker Hannifin Corporation elected Dan Serbin, age 51, vice president of human resources and a corporate officer of the company, effective May 1. Serbin succeeds Dan Garey, who is retiring.

Serbin joined Parker in 1980 and has served in a number of human resources management positions. Most recently, he was the vice president of human resources for the Fluid Connectors Group. Serbin earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in public administration from Ohio State University, and his juris doctor from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Serbin is a member of the Ohio Bar Association.

"Dan has a proven record of being an excellent employee advocate and has led some of our most important human resources initiatives. Through his leadership, we will continue to empower employees to deliver on our Win Strategy, achieving continued global growth and driving excellence in everything we do," said Chairman and CEO Don Washkewicz.
