In 2006 Southbank (UK) plc acquired Hayward Tyler Group Ltd, a leading manufacturer of pumps and motors for the power generation and oil and gas industries. In its latest figures, Southbank reported revenues of £24.7million for Hayward Tyler with an order book of almost £50million – 80% of which is derived from export markets.

David has over 20 years experience in the power and electrical manufacturing industries and joins Southbank from Cressall Resistors Limited, a former Halma Group plc subsidiary, where he served as Managing Director since 2004. There he successfully tripled the company’s revenues and managed the sale and subsequent merger of two UK based competitors. Previously, David was Sales Director of MAN B&W Diesels Ltd and Operations Manager at Chloride Safety Systems having spent the early part of his career as an Operations Manager in GEC.

Ewan Lloyd-Baker, CEO of Southbank UK, commented:

“我们很高兴地欢迎大卫team. We are striving to further establish Hayward Tyler as a world leader in pump and motor technology and expand its global presence. With David’s operational and managerial expertise, as well as his experience in managing growth businesses and developing overseas partnerships, he is an invaluable addition to our team.”
