Waukesha Cherry-Burrell Breaks Ground For New Manufacturing Facility

Waukesha Cherry-Burrell held its groundbreaking ceremony for a new manufacturing facility Thursday, August 30, 2001. The 50,000 square foot building, located a short distance from the corporate headquarters in Delavan, WI, will house production of the company's scrape surface heat exchange line.

Due to open December 2001, the expansion will create 45 new jobs.

"We are very excited about this expansion,"said Don Canterna, President. "Transferring manufacturing from our plant in Louisville to a centralized location will greatly benefit our customers. We'll have better synergies in engineering, product development and customer service."

Local dignitaries, company executives and employees were on hand for the groundbreaking ceremony.
