“Wilden continues enhance its already robust line of air-operated double-diaphragm pumps for the paint and coatings industry. Combined with the Drop-In and Bolted design of our air-operated double-diaphragm pumps, the incorporation of our Full Stroke PTFE Diaphragms gives Wilden a distinct advantage over the competition,” said Greg Duncan, Director of Engineering for Wilden Pump & Engineering.

The full-stroke design of Wilden’s new PTFE diaphragms delivers improved, more reliable pump performance in Paint & Coatings applications. This is the result of increased product displacement per stroke, translating into greater flow rates and higher efficiencies than are found in pumps that operate with reduced-stroke PTFE diaphragms.

Another benefit of the new Full Stroke PTFE Diaphragms is that they use the same shaft and piston combinations as Wilden’s standard rubber and TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) diaphragms, meaning they are easily retrofittable to existing pumps without the need for any extra components. The new Full Stroke PTFE Diaphragms are available on Wilden’s bolted-configuration 25mm (1”), 38mm (1.5”) and 76mm (3”) stainless-steel and aluminum Advanced Series Metal air-operated double-diaphragm pumps, which are ideal for Paint & Coatings manufacturing operations.
