ABB Appoints Carolina Granat as Chief Human Resources Officer

The Association of Electrical & Mechanical Trades (AEMT) is delighted to be returning to the West Midlands on the evening of Thursday 23rd November for the staging of its 6th Annual Awards Ceremony. With a record number of submissions across the seven categories, this year’s programme has again produced some truly exceptional entries from right across the electro-mechanical arena.

ABB announced it has completed its acquisition of the Siemens low voltage NEMA motor business. The transaction was originally announced August 11, 2022, and financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The business employs around 600 people and generated revenues of approximately $63 million in 2021.

NETZSCH Pumpen & Systeme has received the “Fair Company” award for the twelfth time in a row. The initiative, founded by the Handelsblatt newspaper, is sustainably committed to a fair working environment. Fair Company is the largest and best-known employer initiative in Germany.

Following yet another exhaustive Judging Session, which was held virtually on 26th January, the Finalists in the 2023 Pump Industry Awards have now been determined.

Following a detailed selection process, ABB’s Board of Directors has nominated Denise C. Johnson, group president of Caterpillar Inc, as a new member for election at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Zurich on March 23, 2023. At the same time, current member Satish Pai will step down from the Board.
