BUTTING Offers New Sales Office in the Desert City of Dubai

AUMA has delivered 196 of its PROFOX electric actuators to a district cooling plant in Dubai. Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (EMPOWER), the leading district cooling provider in the United Arab Emirates, used the PROFOX units to replace under-performing pneumatic actuators at its plant in Palm Jumeirah, a group of artificial islands in Dubai.

The Al Awir sewage plant is one of the principle wastewater treatment centres in Dubai. It has been significantly expanded in recent years. The first phase of the plant was designed with a daily capacity of 260,000 m³ but by December 2007 it was dealing with almost 500,000 m³.
