Dr. Stephan Petri will resign from GEA s Executive Board. By mutual consent with the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board, the Labor Relations Director has agreed to leave the company with effect from June 30, 2016, to pursue new challenges outside of GEA.

His Executive Board responsibilities will become obsolete; in the future, Jürg Oleas, CEO of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, will assume his tasks including the function of Labor Relations Director.

"I would like to thank Stephan Petri for more than ten years of trustful and successful cooperation. His expertise and dedicated commitment have been instrumental in shaping GEA s development. The future composition of the Executive Board will seek to reflect the stronger operational focus of the entire group", says Jürg Oleas.

Stephan Petri has been a member of the Executive Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft since June 1, 2012, where he is responsible for Human Resources, Legal/Compliance and Internal Audit. Prior to that, he held the position of General Counsel after joining GEA in 2005; in addition, he was appointed Chief Compliance Officer in 2006 while also assuming responsibility as Head of Other Companies later on.

“我代表整个监事会would like to thank Dr. Petri for his outstanding commitment and dedication over the previous years and wish him all the best for future", says Dr. Jürgen Heraeus, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft.
