Wilden Original Series PX4 Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm Pumps Made to Tackle Oil-Transfer Applications

04.06.2010

Wilden announced that its Original Series Metal PX4 Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm Pumps offer the performance proficiencies necessary for use in oil skimming and oil transfer applications.

具体来说,野人的原始系列38毫米(1 - 1 /2”) PX4 Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm Pumps are ideal for handling used oil because they have the capability to handle solids as large as 4.8 mm (3/16”), which is crucial consideration in the transferring or skimming process. PX4 pumps feature the clamped configuration that Jim Wilden invented in 1955. They have lube-free operation and are available in a multitude of elastomer options, including Buna-N, which is generally the elastomer of choice when petroleum or oil-based fluids are being handled. The PX4 pumps offer flow rates up to 348 lpm (92 gpm) at maximum operating pressures of 8.6 bar (125 psi).

Additionally, the PX4 pumps feature Wilden’s Pro-Flo X Air-Distribution System (ADS). The Pro-Flo X ADS offers operational flexibility through its state-of-the-art Efficiency Management System (EMS), which optimizes the Pro-Flo X ADS for the actual operation parameters regardless of the application demands or pump size. The EMS allows the operator to use an integrated control dial to select the efficiency point and flow rate that best suits the application. The result is higher performance, lower operational costs and performance flexibility that sets a new industry standard.
