2023年初,KSB组to launch a new submersible borehole pump series onto the market. Named UPA S 250, this pump series will extend the manufacturer’s range of well pumps. It is designed for use in general water supply, agriculture, mine dewatering and ground water management as well as for general pressure boosting tasks, for example.

When it comes to dewatering, Tsurumi is the go to brand. In Hall 6, the pump manufacturer presented the new KRDX explosion proof dewatering pump and the new LSC2.75S residue pump. The company also demonstrated how to get all construction gear on site onto the network: namely, amazingly simply with the Tsurumi Connect-Box.

At the end of 2021, the KSB Group was awarded a contract for the delivery of 14 large submersible motor pumps for flood control in Paraguay. The pumps are intended for equipping several pumping stations belonging to the “Costanera de Pilar y control de inundaciones” project.

The Wilo-Rexa MINI3 has now been awarded the renowned iF Design Award. In its statement, the jury praised not only the good and functional design of Wilo’s submersible motor pump, but also its technical advantages, especially in times of increasing water shortage.

If pumps break down prematurely, it is not always related to the granular sediment in the dirty water. This will literally reduce exposed parts such as the impeller. But often the pH value of the water is the real problem.

Especially when pumping chemically aggressive and abrasive waste water, as well as liquid chemicals, pumps must be particularly resilient and robust.
